Rufus Case, 85, of Russellville, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. He was born June 8, 1927, at Fallsville in Newton County, to Riley and Maggie Case. He was retired from Arkansas Nuclear One, and was a dedicated family man. He was baptized at Restoration Church where his son and daughter's family attend church. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John and Argus Case, a sister, Christine Gray, and a granddaughter, Crystal Case. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Ruby Bernell Bewley Case; a daughter and son-in-law, Reba and Gene Brady of Russellville; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Wava Case of Lamar; a sister, Geraldine Rogers of Russellville; two sisters-in-law, Mazelle Case Johnson of Quitman, and Peggy Case of Tupelo, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Tawnya Beard and her husband, Aaron, of Russellville, Brent Brady and his wife, Debbie, of Pottsville, Craig Case and his wife, Amanda, of Atkins; 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends, including special caregivers Tina McKinnon and Sissy Judea. The funeral will be at 10 a.m., Friday, November 9, 2012, at the Restoration Church, officiated by the Rev. James Findley. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, by Shinn Funeral Service, Russellville. Active pallbearers will be Gregg Bewley, Kenneth Boze, Thurlow Oels, Terry Bewley, Kevin Talbert and Don Bewley.
