Wanda Jean Langrell, 75, of Knoxville, passed away on November, 8, 2012 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. The daughter of Charles Floyd and Winnie McDaniel, she was born November 23, 1936 in Snowball, Ark. She attended Arkansas Tech University and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she received her Master's Degree in Education. Wanda's career spanned 32 years having taught at Wilson, Lepanto, Greenbrier and Lamar School's. She was a member of Knoxville First Baptist Church and Clarksville Country Club where she enjoyed playing golf. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William E. Langrell Sr.; four brothers, Thomas, Melvin, Dale, and Ray McDaniel. Left to cherish her memory are three children, William E. Langrell, Jr. of Milford, Kan., Jean Ann Langrell of Clarksville, and Sallie Hampton & husband Dusty of Russellville; four grandchildren, Steven and Kevin Marnet of Germany, Shayne Hampton of Russellville and Clara Hampton of Russellville; one sister, Helen Zaitz & husband Larry of Jacksonville and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Humphrey Chapel with Rev. Richard Snyder officiating. Burial will be follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway at 2 p.m., Nov. 10, 2012, by Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Tech University-Education Department, 1605 Coliseum Drive, Russellville, Ark. 72801.
