Dorothy "Dottie" Bradley, 85, of Little Rock, died Friday, November 9, 2012. She was born September 2, 1927 in Little Rock the daughter of Bill and Rose Morgan Johnson of Roland, Arkansas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bill Bradley, and her husband, Raymond. She was a graduate of Little Rock Senior High School and graduated from Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway. Her teaching career included positions at Scott Elementary and Baseline Elementary and ended back at Scott. Throughout her career Dottie taught and impacted the lives of thousands of central Arkansas children. As her career drew to a close, Dottie taught through her sight issues caused by macular degeneration. After retiring, Dottie and her husband, Raymond, began traveling, visiting each of the fifty states, as well as places such as Disney World, San Diego, and Arizona with their family. Dottie also dedicated much of her retired life to her family, serving as a friend and mentor to her two grandchildren, giving them her unyielding support at their scholastic and athletic events. Dottie was a family woman, and loved by all for her dedication. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Leslie (Bradley) Stansell; son-in –law, Greg Stansell; her grandkids, Benjamin and Jacob Stansell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 12th, in Pinecrest Memorial Park with Rev. Nathan Kilbourne officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock (501) 661-9111.
