William Richard (Rick) Moore, born January 23, 1941 to Bill and Ruth Moore in Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away after a one-car accident on November 6, 2012 in White County. After graduating from the University of Arkansas, Rick went to work for his father-in-law Phil Dulin at Arkansas Gypsum and Dulin Materials in Hot Springs. He was part owner of Valley Lumber and built many homes, condos and apartments. The last few years were spent helping his son Philip at Commercial Cabinet Corporation. Rick's many interests included being a pilot, water and snow skiing, skeet shooting, duck and deer hunting, salt water and fresh water fishing, motor boating and the last few years, sailing on Lake DeGray. Rick leaves behind his wife Lucy Kay and children Rich Moore, Karen (Michael) Ahlbrandt , Melinda (Matt) White, Philip (Sharla) Moore and grandchildren Army Pvt. Evan Moore, Carli Moore, Blake Ahlbrandt, Abbie Ahlbrandt, Matthew White, Gavin White, Paige Moore, Colby Moore and Lucy Lynn Moore; sisters, Billie Ruth (Tom) Hatcher, Pat (Farrell) Hegwood; nieces, Leslie (Scott) Bailey, Jenny Hatcher Downs, and Tom Hatcher Jr. along with friends and fellow sailors at Iron Mountain Yacht Club, Jeannie Springer and Rendi Washington. A memorial service will be held at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Sunday at 10 a.m. with reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Arkansas Hands and Voices, P.O.
