He served as minister of evangelism at Highland Park Methodist in Dallas for 13 years. The Warden family returned to Arkansas. His most fun was his music. He played the piano, guitar, ukulele, and sang in several men's quartettes. He could never read music, but played and sang by ear. He always had a shop and could repair almost anything. He and Dorothy sang in many groups plus the church choir. They shared so many things. He met her at Hendrix when he stepped on her at a bonfire.
