On Nov. 5, 2012, SARA ELIZABETH BESANCON, was granted her angel wings and flew home to be with our Lord. Sara's life began Oct. 31, 1990, and ended tragically with her best friend Tawny Allen Rodriguez from injuries sustained in a one-car accident. Sara's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that her quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. She was a very outgoing, beautiful young woman with a strong, yet bubbly personality. Her infectious smile brought so much joy to those around her. She enjoyed cheerleading, softball, soccer, basketball, drawing, and being with friends and family. She attended Bryant High School through 10th grade and graduated from Bauxite High School in June 2009. She completed the medical professions program at Pulaski Technical College during her junior and senior years. Sara is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Raymond Besancon and David Manson; and sister, Tamara Skaggs. Sara is survived by her father, Richard Besancon (Jayne); mother, Elizabeth Graves (Jeff); grandmothers, Melba Besancon and Gladys Manson; sisters, Hannah and Tess Besancon, Raechel Skaggs, Randie Juliusson, and Haleigh; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her very much. A celebration of Sara's life was held Nov. 12 at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant with burial at McPhearson Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital or Ronald McDonald House.
