Louise R. Jones

Louise R. Jones, 87, of Searcy, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012. She was born Feb. 26, 1925 in the Pine snag Community to the late Lewie Vernon and Louvenie Jane Allen. She is survived by two sons, Larry Gale Jones and his wife, Patsy and Gary Don Jones and his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Carolyn Sue Rodgers; nine grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Maurice Allen of Heber Springs and Arthur Lynn Allen of Sherwood; four sisters, Dorothy Wallace of Searcy, Wanda Mitchell of Searcy, Lois Combs of Heber Springs and Kaye Clark of Quitman. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leon Jones; a brother, Lewie Vernon Allen, Jr.; a sister, Patricia Jane Allen; paternal grandparents, Robert "Bob" and Molly Richardson Allen; maternal grandparents, A.H. "Bert" and Leonard Smith Howell and a great-grandson, Bentley Ross Jones. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted Tuesday, 10 a.m, Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.
