F.W. "Frank" Vardaman, age 77, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on November 19, 2012 with his loving wife Patricia at his side. Mr. Vardaman was born December 12, 1934 in McArthur, Arkansas to Pearl S. and Howard Vardaman. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Mary Catherine; brother, William P. Vardaman and sister, Julia A. Adams. Mr. Vardaman was a retired Terminal Manager for Union Pacific Railroad, an avid gardener and family man.
Frank is survived by his devoted wife Patricia; five sons, Richard (Mary) of Hot Springs, Keith (Susie), Charles (Brandi) of Little Rock, Greg (Sean) of Arkadelphia and James (Karly) Vardaman of Starkville, Mississippi; two daughters, Suann (Mike) Engel of North Little Rock, and Sandy (David) Straessle of Little Rock and one sister, Betty Wells of McGehee; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, that were the apple of his eye!
Visitation will be at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock. Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800 on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral will be on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at McGehee Cemetery, McGehee, Arkansas at 2 p.m.
