Billy Bob Whitley

BILLY BOB WHITLEY, 69 of Rose City in North Little Rock, Ark. was born on Feb. 15, 1943 in Sardis, Ark. and passed away on Nov. 13, 2012. He was welcomed into the arms of his daughter, Lori Dawn Whitley; his parents, R. E. "Bob" and Jessie Lee Whitley; and his brothers, Lee Roy McSwain and Joe Robert Whitley. He had his first Thanksgiving with his daughter in twenty years and for that we are thankful. He has gone ahead to prepare for, and leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Ruth Ann Whitley; son, Billy Joe Whitley and wife Chantae; granddaughter, Megan Kalee Whitley; uncle, Jess Whitley and lifelong friend and brother, Charles L. "Sonny" Russell. Dad is a Mason and a member of the Rose City Masonic Lodge. We are all better for knowing him. He is well loved. He hasn't died… He never will. To me he is life. Tell someone you love them, they need to hear it… You need to say it. Show kindness to a stranger, it will be returned in time. Seek out someone you have missed, you both will be blessed.
