LOU ETTA BROWN, 92, of Cammack Village, passed away Nov. 23, 2012. She was born in Saltillo, Ark. on Dec. 5, 1919 to the late George and Nonie Hall. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard R. Brown, and a daughter-in-law, Gay Brown. She leaves a loving family of seven children, Richard C. Brown (Millie), Kenneth Brown (Shirley), Jerry Brown (Shirley), Linda Colclasure, Terry Brown, and Larry Brown and Sherry Reznick (Greg), who took such devoted care of her. She also left behind nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; each held a special place in her heart. She was "Ma Brown" to all who knew her, she always had a kind thought and took care to call on those in need. She was our rock and we will miss her greatly. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 1 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street. Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Online guestbook is available at www.griffinleggetthealeyroth.com.
