Mona J. Rogers Boyce, 50, of Hooks, Texas died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at her home. She was born on Oct. 16, 1962 in Stuttgart, Ark. Mrs. Boyce was a member of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church, member of American Society of Hand Therapist, the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc., National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Inc. She was employed at Christus St. Michael Hospital as a certified occupational hand therapist. Mrs. Boyce was preceded in death by her father Troy P. Rogers. Survivors include her husband Charles "Chuck" Boyce of Hooks, Texas; daughter, Sara Michaela Rogers of Hooks, Texas; mother, Helen B. Rogers of Little Rock, Ark.; brother and sister-in-law William R. and Cindy L. Rogers of Conway, Ark.; sister, Marilyn J. Rogers of Texarkana, Texas; nephew and his wife, Blake and Karen Rogers of Greenbrier, Ark.; niece and her husband Stephanie and David Simmons of Bryant, Ark.; brother and sister-in-law Larry and Sharon Harris of Nash, Texas; nephews, Chad, Cliff and Cody Harris of Dallas and Texarkana, Texas; niece, Carly Taylor of Texarkana, Texas and many more family and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 at East Memorial Chapel-Moores Lane. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hospice of Texarkana, Texas.
