Joan D Ridge

Mrs. Joan D. Ridge 74, of Grand Haven, Michigan passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012. She was born April 19, 1938 to the late Albert and Martha (Flagel) Howard. She married Donald Ridge on December 14, 1959 in Coloma, Michigan. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2010. Joan moved to Grand Haven two years ago from Clinton, Arkansas where she was owner of Blue Acrea Farm in Grand Junction, Michigan. She is survived by her two daughters, Kelly Thomas of Maumelle, AK; and Leah (Willy) Ten Brink of Grand Haven, MI; son, Donald (Barbara) Ridge of Hudsonville, MI; grandchildren, Jack Clark, Donnie Greene, Amanda Greene-Lewis, Samantha Dwys, Christopher Ridge, and Matthew Ridge, Sisters, Ruby (Max) Hickmott of Watervliet, MI; Edith (Dale) Miller of St Joseph; brothers, Don Howard of Grand Junction; Russ Howard of St Joseph; and Bruce Howard of Benton Harbor. Joan was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth and brother Carlyle. Graveside Service and Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Eglantine Cemetery.
