Nathan Hoard, 45, who has fought hard to stay in this life as any man could, surrendered to the Peace of God, and was promoted to his heavenly dwelling place Sunday, November 25th, at 9 p.m. Nate was born November 1, 1967, in Little Rock. Arkansas. Anyone who knew him would agree that Nate had the heart and the spirit of a lion. Though life had dealt some difficult blows to Nate, he always strived to squeeze every bit of enjoyment that he could from the life that he was given. He was a unique man who viewed life through an equally unique perspective. He lived sports and was as competitive as they come. He had a passion for helping kids. Nate was a people magnet. His dynamic personality endeared him to most all people who encountered him. Never one to withhold his opinions, Nate was a straight shooter. He was passionate about the things that he believed in and wasn't afraid to express himself freely. He appreciated others who were the same way. A devoted husband and a doting Dad, Nate treasured his beloved wife Rachel and adored his "girls" Jordan and Natalie. His three ladies were his greatest joy. Nate is also survived by his mother, Charlie Hoard, his brother Sanchez Hoard, many beloved family members, and a multitude of friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
