Charles Huskey Jr., 84, of Little Rock, formerly of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012, at his residence. He was born September 4, 1928, to Zona Charles and Ruby Pearl Mathis Huskey in Cale, Ark. Charles was a United States Army Veteran, serving in Korea, and was an electrician for the IBEW 436. He enjoyed welding, building projects and most of all he loved his family. Charles was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ann Huskey; and son, Charles Huskey. Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Archer (Dr. Lee) of Little Rock, ARrk. two brothers, Gilbert Huskey (Miriam) of Junction City, James Huskey (Jo) of El Dorado; sister, KatherineTalley (Reed) of Queens City, Texas; and sister-in-law, Ruth Nodini of El Dorado. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family expresses appreciation to Dr. Kimberly Curseen and Dr. Paula Podrazik, home health care aides Shuntell, Stoney, and Shalana, and the Baptist Therapy team of Linda, Catherine, and Carrie for their compassionate care and attention. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Young's Chapel under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors with Dr. Ray Higgins officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, Honduras Mission Fund, 4501 Rahling Rd., Little Rock, Ark. 72223.
