Conyous H. Biggs

Conyous Moore Biggs, age 86, of Little Rock, died Monday, November 26, 2012. She was born November 24, 1926 in Chesterfield, S.C. to the late Charles Preston Moore and Ethel Lisenby Moore. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers JW Moore and Donald Moore, husband of 50 years, Ted G. Biggs, son Guy Preston Biggs, and daughter-in-law, Darla J. Biggs. Survivors include two sisters, Katie M. Walter and Sue Moore; three sons, Gene S. Biggs of North Little Rock, Rork P. Biggs (Tess) of Melbourne, Fla., Thomas W. Biggs of Little Rock; three daughters, Peggy Rolfes (Peter) of Atlanta, Ga., Judith Biggs of Little Rock, Janice Hamzy (Shannon) of Little Rock; and 5 grandchildren, Preston Zambrano of Little Rock, Sarah and Molly Rolfes of Atlanta, Ga. Chad Tollett (Heather) of Conway, Ark., Ashley Harden (Jay) of Marianna, Ark. and four great-grandchildren, Cole, Clay, Amelia, and Jack. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mom, granny, and friend, and will be deeply missed. Her wonderful sense of humor, sweet smile, generous nature, and ability to make everyone feel welcome combined to make her the quintessential gracious Southern lady. Her family feels extremely blessed to have had her in their lives for so many years. The family would also like to express their gratitude to her devoted caregivers, Phyllis, Ms. Ella, Charlene, Maria, and Amalia. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with a rosary to begin at 6 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth, 5800 West 12th Street Little Rock, Arkansas. A private family burial will be held at a future date. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
