Dorman Orval Young

Dorman Orval Young, 77, of Sherwood, Arkansas was born September 13, 1935 in Sheridan, Arkansas the son of the late B.W. and Doyle Edna Stevens Young. He was a member of Moose Lodge #942 in Sherwood and had served over 20 years in the United States Air Force. Mr. Young died at his home on Saturday, November 24, 2012. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Young, a sister, Emma Clark and brothers, Claude and Carthel Young. Survivors: wife, Gail Davis Young of Sherwood; sons, Mark Young (Amy) of North Little Rock; Eric Young (Joy) of Bryant; daughters, Dorene Young of North Little Rock; Debra Austin (Russell) of Hot Springs, Renee Melancon of Holiday Island, Arkansas; sister, Pauline Clark of Sheridan; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 1 p.m. until service time.
