Mary Hocking Tuck

Mary Jane Hocking Tuck, 84, of Redfield, died Monday, November 26, 2012. Born February 5, 1928 at Dumas, Arkansas, she was a daughter of the late Wallace E. Hocking, Sr. and Mable Cook Hocking. Mrs. Tuck was a member of Redfield Missionary Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star and Order of the Amaranth. She worked alongside her husband, Redfield's Postmaster of 40 years, as a postal clerk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert Tuck Sr.; sons, John Tuck, and Robert "Bobby" Tuck Jr.; siblings, June Giullott, John Doyle Hocking, and Wallace Edward Hocking Jr. She is survived by her brothers, Bobby and Joe Hocking; sisters, Modie Phillips and Martha Moss; daughters-in-law, Elizabeth Tuck-Rowan, and Fran Evans; granddaughter & caregiver, Tiffany Amanda Tuck Spivey; Great-grandson, Drake Spivey; step-grandchildren, Carmen, Cerissa, Jake, Edward, Randy, David and Kerry; and many other loving family and friends.
