Melissa Bell

Melissa Bell, 65, of Memphis, formerly of Lepanto, died Friday, October 5, 2012 in Baptist Hospital in Memphis. She was a member of Lepanto First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank A. Bell Sr. and Lorene Portis Bell and her sister, Nina Ward Folliott. Melissa graduated from Lausanne Collegiate School and from Memphis State University. She was active in the Humane Society. She is survived by her brother Frank A. Bell Jr. of West Memphis and a niece, Jennifer Bell Fisher of Florence, Alabama. A memorial service will be announced by her family at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Humaine Society or a charity of your choice. Murphy Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
