Patty Sue Felty

Patty Sue McMullen Felty, 77, of Hazen, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012. She was a homemaker, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Ruth Barrett Fox, Federated Women's Club, Women in Agriculture, and was always involved in the family farming operation. She looked forward to harvest and helping drive the grain trucks. Patty was born September 28, 1935, the daughter of Floyd and Opal McMullen. Patty married John Larry Felty in June of 1963. Shortly after their marriage, he was injured in an accident, and she spent the rest of her life dedicated to taking care of him and her sons. John Larry preceded her in death in 2009. She is survived by two sons, Greg and Melissa Felty of Conway and Bryan and Donna Felty of Hazen and two grandchildren, Taylor and Gracen Felty. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church in Hazen with burial in the Hazen Cemetery. Arrangements are by Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen.
