Sarah Kathryn Venable

Sarah Kathryn Venable, 74, a resident of Grady, died Thursday, October 11, 2012, at her home in Grady. Born October 24, 1937, in Pine Bluff, she was a daughter of Arley and Clara Fullbright Harshaw. Mrs. Venable was reared and received her early education in Grady, graduating from Grady High School. Sarah Kathryn Harshaw married Robert Venable on November 27, 1955, in Grady. Mrs. Venable enjoyed gardening, ballroom dancing, housekeeping, and travel. Her greatest love was for her family, and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Grady United Methodist Church and the Grady Lion's Club. Mrs. Venable was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Robert Venable of Grady; one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Jeff Keeter of White Hall; one daughter, Robbin Tuller of Plano, Texas; two grandsons, Justin Keeter of Fayetteville, and Ryan Keeter of White Hall; one grandaughter, Sarah Tuller of Plano; one sister, Betty Haisty of Grady. The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2012, at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Grady United Methodist Church with Reverend Justin Ledbetter and Reverend Tim Rushing officiating.
