Mary Ellen Rusher Snider

Mary Ellen Rusher Snider, 88, of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012. She was born on Oct. 15, 1923, in Sullivan, Ind., to the late Carl and Pearline Mattix Rusher. She had been a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a former employee of Sears. Mary is survived by her son Tom Snider and wife JoAnn, of Texarkana, Texas; two grandchildren, Dr. Dallas Snider and wife Kim, of Pace, Fla. and Dr. Francie Kempson and husband, Dr. Steve Kempson of Texarkana, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kelsey, and Karlie Kempson of Texarkana, Texas, and Savannah Snider of Pace, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William T. Snider. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, with visitation at 10-11 a.m. at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St, 501-758-1170. Burial will be at Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
