James E Jones

James E. Jones Jr., 83, of Damascus, passed from this life on October 15, 2012. He was the son of the late J.E. Jones Sr. and Margret Jones. James enjoyed fishing and vegetable gardening and was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Dumascus. He owned and operated a t.v. repair service until he retired. James was also preceded in death by four sisters; Hazel Bender, Macelee Quattlebaum, Oma Winningham, and Moncella Bates. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy L. Jones of 52 years; his two step sons, Gary Stephenson (Lanell), Troy Stephenson (Phillis), three grandchildren; Brant Stephenson, Amanda Reeves, Julie Buss, four great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; Evalena Snow, Oleta McGee, Jaunita Bryant, J.C. Winningham, Kay Clifton, Billy Winningham, Jackie Bates, Pam Pendelton, Cheryl Provance. A Memorial Service will be held at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
