David coy Cook, age 79, of Texarkana, Arkansas, formerly of Lewisville, Arkansas, and Bradley, Arkansas, died October 21, 2012. Mr. Cook was born July 19, 1933, in Scott, Arkansas, and was raised in Lewisville, Arkansas. He was a retired rural mail carrier and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Shelia Cook of Texarkana, Arkansas, three sons and two daughters-in-law David Coy Cook II and wife Lanna of Bentonville, Arkansas; Mark Wayne Cook and wife Terry of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and Danny Joe Cook of Texarkana, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela Patton Miller and husband David of Cabot, Arkansas; Toya Whitecotton and husband Chad of New Boston, Texas; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m., Thursday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas with Rev. Bill Saxby and Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating.
