Betty B. Bass

Betty Blanche Bass, 86, of Marvell, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Bass was born February 8, 1926 at Marvell to the late William Jacob Lynch and the late Katherine George Lynch. She is survived by a daughter, Kay Bass Farmer (Jerry) of Bryant, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Jill Tate (Roger), Lisa Dugger (Garrick), Jonathan Farmer (Megan) and Richard Allen Bass; four great-grandchildren, Melanie Tate, Peyton Dugger, Marissa Tate and Brooks Bass; a sister, Josie Bland (Marvin) of New Haven, Indiana; four brothers, Leland Lynch of Grabill, Indiana, Howard Lynch of Mississippi, Waymon Lynch of Pacifica, California, and Curtis Lynch of Edgerton, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jacob and Katherine Lynch; her husband, Herbert Bass; son, Richard Bass; brother, George Alton Lynch; and three sisters, Virginia Dockery, Dorothy Watts, and Myrtis Lynch. Services for Betty Bass will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Eventide Cemetery at Marvell. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 North University Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
