Darwin Jay Hubbard

Darwin Jay Hubbard, age 50, of Pangburn, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012 in Little Rock, Ark. He was born May 29, 1962 in Anderson, Ind. to Richard B. "Poe" Hubbard and Reba N. Altom Hubbard. He worked for over 20 years as a press operator at Bryce, but his passion was fishing. He is survived by his wife, Judy Hubbard; three daughters, Beth Paige Stanley of Searcy, Amber Brownfield of Letona, Brittany Davis of Pangburn; one son, Michael Davis of Pangburn; five grandchildren; parents, Poe and Reba Hubbard of McJester; one brother, Elton Bland Hubbard of McJester; two sisters, Lynn Bravo and husband Dan of Enterprise, Ala., Diana Joy Diehl and husband Mike of Anderson, Ind., and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Alana Nicole Hubbard, and his grandparents, Homer and Lillie Altom and William and Fern Hubbard. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the McJester Baptist Church in Pangburn with interment to follow at Henderson Cemetery.
