Lucie Branton York

LUCIE BRANTON YORK, born Aug. 27, 1940 in Little Rock, Ark. and died Aug. 30, 2012 in Little Rock, Ark., was predeceased by her father, Herman H. Branton Sr.; mother, Margaret Atkins Stubbs Branton; and brother, Thomas Stubbs. She is survived by her husband, Don York of Conway, Ark., her first and only true love whom she married while still in high school. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary June 8, 2012. She is also survived by one brother, Herman H. Branton Jr. (Sandra) of North Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Margaret Ann Stubbs Kohl (Bill) of Okla.; three sons, Jerome of Louisiana, Kenneth (Bette) of North Carolina and Jay (Cindy) of Texas; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and extended family, John McIntosh (Brandi) and Kara McIntosh.
