Bernadine Juanita McIntyre

Bernadine "Juanita" McIntyre, 86, of Jacksonville passed away Monday, September 10, 2012. She was born February 27, 1926 in Lexington, Illinois to the late Frederick W. Meyer and Juanita B. Meyer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother William Meyer. She served 11 years in the U.S. Air Force. She was a 59 year member of the Eastern Star; a PWM of Chapter 520, and Past Grand Representative. She was a member of VFW Post #4548, American Legion Post #308, and Women of the Moose Chapter #1568. She is survived by her husband, Richard, brother, Martin D. Meyer (Donna), nephew, Greg Meyer (Cathy) and a niece, Francis Hoover (John). Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Crismon officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the funeral home.
