Marcus Hurkus Elliott, Jr.

The Reverend Marcus Hurkus Elliott Jr., Presiding Elder, Retired, of Little Rock, Ark. passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012. He was born October 14, 1926 in Sherrill, Ark. to the late Marcus Hurkus and Blanche Elliott. He is survived by his spouse, Mrs. Mozell Elliott; his son, Marcus H. Elliott, III (Ramona); his daughters, Erma Jean Cook Williams (Oliver); Anita Michelle Elliott Brannon (the Reverend Eugene), and Melanie A. Elliott Hillard (Jessie); a step-son, the Reverend Bill A. Bowers (Sandra); eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two Goddaughters and a host of relatives and friends. The Family Hour will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and the services will be Friday at 11 a.m,, both at Union A.M.E. Church, 1825 Pulaski, Little Rock.
