Tony Evans

Mr. Tony Evans, 49, of Snyder, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at his residence in Snyder. Mr. Evans was a native of England, Arkansas and a resident of Snyder and Portland for the past 10 years. He graduated from England High School in 1981. He was a farmer and a member of the Landmark Baptist Church in England. He loved his dog, Scooby Do. He is survived by his wife, Dolly Boyles Evans off Snyder; a daughter, Leah Evans of Sherwood; a step-daughter, Ashley Vail and her husband, Albert, of Snyder; his parents, Toby & Betty Freeman Evans of England; a sister, Carla Evans Smith and husband, Dickey, of Sherwood; a good friend that he called his "little sister", Marie Williams of Snyder; two grandchildren, Hannah & Allen Vail; a nephew, Shane Smith of North Little Rock and a niece, Misty Herrera of Sherwood. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2012 in the Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas with Rev. David Jimerson officiating.
