Bertha Faye Evans

Bertha Roberts Evans, 93, of Edgemont, Ark. formerly of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012. She was the daughter of the late John and Beulah Peeler Roberts. Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and one brother. Bertha was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Heber Springs, Ark. for a number of years. She retired as a finance advisor. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother; great-grandmother and great-great- grandmother she will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by one son, Edward Evans (Mary) of Naples, Fla.; her daughter, Cheryl Tyler (Eddie) of Edgemont, Ark.; grandchildren, Tammy Foshee (Randy), Tracy Smith (Bobby), Jerry Tyler (Rochelle), and John Evans (Aishah); eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and host of friends. Graveside service Monday, Sept. 17, 2012. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at Roller-Owens Funeral, 5509 John F.
