Peter James Gee

Peter James Gee, age 52, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away suddenly September 11, 2012 at Little Rock. He was born on July 9, 1960 in Liverpool, England to his parents Terry and Vera Connolly Gee. Peter was the oldest of three. He was a longtime resident of Little Rock, Arkansas for 23 years while employed by UAMS as an RN Physician Extender where he touched the lives of thousands of people as he looked after terminally ill cancer patients and their families. Peter enjoyed painting, animals, particularly his little dogs and his tropical fish. He loved films, was an avid reader and a real computer geek. Peter will be remembered by his loving parents, Terry and Vera Gee of Warrington, Cheshire, England; two sisters, Kerry Jones (Glyn) of Hartford Cheshire, England and Susannah Stewart (James) Fairlie, North Ayrshire, Scotland and four nieces, Emma, Naomi, Rachel and Rebecca. Peter is preceded in death by his loving partner, Michael Howard. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 661-9111 with Dr. Laura Hutchins officiating. Burial will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the funeral home.
