Thomas Shadeed (Belcher) Rasul

Thomas Shadeed (Belcher) Rasul, 65, passed away on September 15, 2012. He was born on April 3, 1947, to the late Dr. Rufus Belcher and Mrs. Zettie Belcher in Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Belcher. Thomas Rasul graduated from Scipio A. Jones High School Class of 1965. He attended Jarvis Christian College and later joined the United States Army, where he would serve in the Vietnam War. Thomas Rasul leaves to cherish his wisdom and his memories, three sons, Mikal Rasul, Na'eem Rasul, and Karim Rasul, one daughter, Zakiyyah Rasul and a step-daughter, Staci Croom-Raley (Brian), four sisters, Aretha Belcher, Brenda Webb (Danny), Sharon Parks, and Shirley Belcher-Perkins, four grandchildren, Alexis Taylor, Mikiya Rasul, Kaden Rasul, and Joshua Raley, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
