Lee Roy "Butch" Ivy, 72, of Hensley passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012. He was born July 24, 1940 to Frank and Marqurite Holt Ivy in Little Rock. Butch graduated from Joe T. Robinson High School in 1958 and served 6 years in the Army National Guard. He married Nancy Mae Ivy Johnson on November 10, 1995. Butch retired from J.A. Riggs Tractor Company after 32 years of service and still enjoyed his monthly get togethers with fellow retirees. Butch loved to ride his motorcycle, enjoyed collecting antique model cars, and his Friday night's at Abe's Ole Feed House in Benton where he visited with lots of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Gladys Ivy and two brothers, Melvin and Thomas Ivy. Butch is survived by his wife of 17 years, Nancy Mae Ivy; one sister, Elsie Lucille "Lucy" Parker; one daughter, Nela Ferris; four sons, David Johnson II and Jonathan Keith Johnson of Little Rock and Michael Ivy-Lawson (Jennifer) and Terry Ivy-Lawson (Angela) of Memphis, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and his faithful side-kick, Buddy along with a host of family and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2012, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 N., Alexander, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday afternoon in the Chapel with burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy. 5 N., Alexander.
