Elaine L. White

Elaine L. White, age 75, of Jacksonville went to be with her Lord on Friday, September 21, 2012. She was born November 16, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pa. to the late Frederick and Ruth Lutz. She was a faithful member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Cabot, and a loving mother and granny. She was preceded in death by her husband M.D. White in 1994. She is survived by her children; Gladys Taylor and her husband Mark, Elaine Powell, Ronald White and his wife Sue, Penny White, grandchildren; Shannon Taylor, Leanne Powell, Kristin Bell, Jason Powell, Michael White, honorary grandson Christopher McPheeters, great-grandchildren; Donevan Cearns, Makayla Cearns, Jade Mudge, Saphire Mudge, Joshua Powell, Madison Powell, Jakob White, and Taylor James. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 24, 2012 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Cabot with Bro. Dale McGregor officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.
