Mary Ann Scroggins

Mary Ann Scroggins of Cuero passed away Sept. 20, 2012. She was born in Hebron, Nebraska on Sept. 17, 1934 to the late Augustus and Gayle Warner Keller. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Marler (Fred) of Springfield, Ark., and a son, Wayne Scroggins (Sandie), of Goliad, Texas; one brother, Leon Keller, Grandchildren: Misty Villa, Becky Marler, Jessica McKee, Chris Marler, Daniel DeLeon, Robert Villarreal, great-grandchildren: Zayden Villa, Curtis Henderson and five additional great-grandchildren. She was a Veteran having served in the USAF. Employed by IRS for over 29 years until her retirement. She was later employed by the Cuero Senior Citizens Center for over eight years. Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Cuero at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 with Dr. Glen Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Cuero Building Fund or Donors Choice.
