Melba June May, 83, of Little Rock passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012. She was a member of Winfield UMC in Little Rock. As a young lady, she lived in California doing runway modeling. She also worked as a manager of the Ralph Lauren Clothing Department for Parks Belk in Bristol, Tennessee for 15 years and was the leading salesperson for many of those. She also appeared in commercials for Parks Belk. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. Her little dog Gizmo always held a special place in her heart. She is survived by her daughter, Pamelea May, of Little Rock, Arkansas; son, David May and wife, Selina, of Montgomery, Texas; daughter, Della May-Taglia, of Conroe, Texas; six grandchildren, Amber Paysinger, Whitney Paysinger, Joshua Taglia, Devon Westwood, Brittany May, and Savannah May-Taylor; four great-grandchildren, Blake, Tommy, Katie, & McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harold David May. Memorials may be made to Winfield UMC, 20100 Cantrell Rd., Little Rock, Ark. 72223. A Memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
