Thelma Vernell Burks

Thelma Vernell Burks, 76, of Lonoke, Arkansas, born February 24, 1936 to father, Willie Jaynes, and mother, Helen (Wortman) Jaynes, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Wayne. Thelma is survived by her husband, Leroy Burks; her sons, Mike (Reba) and Willie (Kimberly); and her daughter, Diann (Reggi) Hall. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; her brother, Tommy Jaynes; and her sisters, Shirley Adame and Ponzie Garrison. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012, at Landmark Baptist Church in England, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at the church.
