Norman John Matuszyk

NORMAN JOHN MATUSZYK, 74, of Little Rock, passed away Sept. 27, 2012. He was born May 16, 1938 in Stickney, Ill. and moved to Hot Springs, Ark. at the age of 12. He relocated his family to Little Rock in 1966, working for Industrial Equipment Service Company, retiring after 24 years. In 1990, he opened his own business, Mobile Pump and Generator Service Company, Inc. His motto, "The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer" encompassed his whole life. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and customers. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Louis Matuszyk and Michalina Kulezak Matuszyk, brother, Robert Matuszyk and sister, Irene McNeely. Survivors, wife of 53 years, Erma Matuszyk of Little Rock; son, John Louis Matuszyk II and fiance, Jennifer Van Dyke of Little Rock; daughters, Barbara Bosshardt and husband, Chick of Little Rock, Pamela Haynes and husband, Billy of Mabelvale; six grandchildren, Joshua Haynes, Chase Bosshardt, Brooke Matuszyk, Ryan Bosshardt, Meagen Matuszyk, Sara Matuszyk and three great-grandchildren, Beckett Bosshardt, Joleigh and Janelle Haynes. Pallbearers will be Scott McNeely, Gene Gancarczyk, Bennie Martin, Buddy Payne, Benny Dollar and Rob Schraeder. Chapel Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2 p.m. Tuesday with burial to follow at Traskwood Cemetery.
