Wayne W. Shelnut

Wayne W. Shelnut, age 84, of Benton, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013. He was born September 12, 1928 in Benton, Arkansas. Wayne was retired from the United States Air Force and he was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Shelnut; parents, Elbert and Bertha Shelnut; two brothers, James and Connie Shelnut; sister, Sherry Austin and a grandson, Cody Dobbins. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Vickie Shelnut of Maumelle; grandchildren, Breanna and Briel Shelnut both of Benton, Holly Dobbins of Alexander and Nicole Dobbins of Little Rock and three great-grandchildren, Vincent and Vera Twidwell and Alex Melton all of Benton.
