Brenda Norman

Brenda Norman, 71, of Gurdon, Arkansas died Tuesday April 2, 2013 at her home in Gurdon, Arkansas. Brenda was born March 27, 1942 to Lester and Catherine Covington Smith in Gurdon, Arkansas. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Gurdon, Retired teacher and Hairdresser. Brenda is preceded in death by her father and one brother Larry Smith. Brenda is survived by her husband, William Norman of Gurdon, Arkansas, two sons, Tommy Norman of Gurdon, Ark. and Darrel Norman of Houston, Texas and one daughter, Robbie Stewart and Rieke of White Hall, Ark.; her mother Catherine Smith of Gurdon, Ark.; one brother Rick Smith and Betty of Russellville , Ark.; one sister, Jean Bergeron and John of Benton, Ark. and eight grandchildren Luke, Todd, Kyle, Ryan, Taylor, Trent Norman, Mason Woodruff and Joseph Stewart. Visitation will be: Friday April 5, 2013 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Pharr Funeral Home Of Gurdon Chapel. Service will be: Saturday April 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. First Baptist Church, Gurdon, Arkansas with Bro. Mike Taylor and Bro. Mark Crawley officiating. Interment will be in: South Fork Cemetery. Under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon. Services entrusted to Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.
