Glenda Marie (Holifield) Long

Glenda Marie (Holifield) Long, 69, of Beebe, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 3, 2013. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Beebe, Arkansas and was a life-long Christian. Glenda was a member of the United Methodist Women and was currently serving as president. She was a special person who smiled like sunshine. God has another beautiful loving person in Heaven. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Glenda is survived by her husband, Charles Long of Beebe; one daughter, Clair Long of Beebe; one son, Michael (Sheryl) Long of Little Rock; one granddaughter, Lauren Horton of Conway; one sister, Phyllis Misee of Conway; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Farris and Lora Holifield; one sister, Jean Miles; and one brother, Cecil Holifield. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Beebe First United Methodist Church.
