Willie Collins Click, age 78, of Nashville, Arkansas died Wednesday, April 3, 2013. He was born to the late Jeff and Velma Click, June 20, 1934, in Briggsville, Arkansas. Willie graduated from Jessieville High School in 1951 and earned his Bachelor & Masters degree from Henderson State University. He married Sue Howell Click in 1956. They lived together in Missouri, Fourche Valley, Dover, and Delight, before settling down in Nashville, Arkansas. Willie was passionate about coaching & teaching. He taught and coached for 40 years. In 1964, he coached the Delight Bulldogs, 42-0, Sr. Boys Basketball team to the class B State Championship. That same year, he coached the Arkansas All Star West Basketball team to a victory. Willie refereed High School Basketball for 25 years and was active in the Pee-wee basketball program in Nashville. Willie was inducted into the Arkansas High School Coaches Hall of Fame in 2003. Willie was an active member of the Sunset Church of Christ in Nashville. He served 28 years in the Army National Guard and Reserves. After he retired, he enjoyed buying & selling antiques, fishing with friends and playing pitch with his friends at the Sr. Citizens Center in Nashville. Willie is survived by his wife: Sue Howell Click of Nashville, Arkansas; two children: Lance Collins Click of Little Rock and Cherri Click Davis of Little Rock, Arkansas He is also survived by two grandchildren; Collins Davis and Tess Davis. He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Jake Howell and Verda Buster Howell, his brother-in-law Dwight Howell, and sister-in-law Margurete Howell. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. - 8: p.m. Friday, April 5, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, Arkansas. Randy Hughes will conduct funeral services, on Saturday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at Sunset Church of Christ, in Nashville, Arkansas. Burial will follow at the Delight, Arkansas Cemetery.
