Sarah Ann Moody James

Sarah Ann Moody James, age 70, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. James was born September 8, 1942, in Pulaski County, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Gus and Mary Beard Moody. Mrs. James was reared and received her education in Little Rock graduating from Joe T. Robinson High School in 1962. She moved to Pine Bluff in 1963, and began working for Gaylord (now Mid America Packing). She retired as a Powertiser with 38 years of service. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dale James, Sr., whom she married October 25, 1963, in Little Rock; son, Kenneth Dale James Jr., both of Pine Bluff; a brother, Donald Moody of Hot Springs. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with Reverend Billy Burks officiating.
