Alf Lamar Hayden, 77, of Alexander went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2013. He was born on April 18, 1935 to the late, George and Emma Hayden in Monticello. Alf enjoyed watching westerns, playing his guitar and singing; he had an unconditional love for all of God's creations and lived his life by always being Christ like no matter where he was or whom he was around. Alf had a contagious laugh and loved bringing a smile to his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Alf is preceded in death by his parents; nine siblings and his father-in-law, Robert Hardy. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Kayrn Levin-Hayden; three sons, Dwayne Hayden (Vicki), Jeremy (Laura) and Jason Koehler; three daughters, Cindy Hayden, Stephanie Johann (Steve) and LaDonna Ashe (Steve); sister, Emma Dee Friddle; mother-in-law, Docia Hardy and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
