Willie Charles Jones

Willie Charles Jones, 60, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013, at his home following a courageous battle with cancer. Willie was born December 13, 1952, in Humnoke to Robert Lee and Violet Rockwell Jones. He was owner of Bone Septic Service and active member and deacon at Park Avenue Missionary Baptist Church, as well as, teacher of the ROCK Sunday school class. Survivors include his wife, Karen Bloom Jones; daughters, Laura Smith-Isbell and spouse Ron of Stuttgart and Melissa Jones Hunter and spouse Jason of Hot Springs; son, Robert "Shook" Newkirk of Stuttgart; son-in-law Bryan Smith and spouse Terri of Roe; brothers, Robert Jones and spouse Linda of Humphrey, Teddy Jones and spouse Sherry of Hickory Plains and Nathaniel Jones and spouse Dala of Biloxi, Mississippi; sisters, Rita Mae Jones of Benton and Cathy Martin and spouse Howard of Wabbaseka; four grandchildren, Katelyn Smith, Abigail Hunter, Jenna Newkirk and Taylor Borchert; and many special nieces and nephews. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Mitch Dulaney, are 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Park Avenue Missionary Baptist Church by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.
