Virginia Rose Wall

Virginia Rose Wall, age 78, of Redfield, formerly of Lake Village, died Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born April 26, 1934, in Lake Village, the daughter of the late August Pieroni and Louise Sampolesi Pieroni and was a registered nurse and a Communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ned Pieroni and August Pieroni and her parents. Survivors are two sons, Don Wall and Stephen Wall, both of Redfield; a daughter, Melinda Courtney of Redfield; three brothers, Vincent Pieroni, Raymond Pieroni and Larry Pieroni, all of Lake Village; a sister, Mary McIntosh of Lake Village; three granddaughters, Jamie Courtney Burdess, Ashley Courtney and Jessie Wall and two great-granddaughters, Ava Burdess and Bella Moody. Visitation was from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, with Rosary at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Theophilus Okpara as Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Isadore Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
