Nancy Perry Turney

Nancy Perry Turney, 69, of Ooltewah passed away peacefully on April 21, 2013 surround by her loving family followed a six year battle with cancer. Nancy was a member of the Brainerd Baptist Church, and a youth director for many years for the First Baptist Church in Natchitoches, La. Nancy is survived by her husband, Richard H. Turney, daughter, Tana Meador, son, Cary (Rhonda) Jernigan, grandchildren, Lindsay (John) Putnam, Scott Jernigan, Ben Jernigan, Sierra Meador, Ashton Meador, Caleb Meador, mother and father, Mae Alice and Burton Perry, sisters, Connie (Aubrey) Gardner, Wilma Jean (Clois) Coon; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24 at the East Brainerd Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 24,at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Burial will be at 12 noon Thursday, April 25, at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, LaFollette, Tennessee. The family would like to express their thanks and Nancy's Love to all those who cared for her during her illness. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
