Mr. Bob Fisher, 93, of Portland, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village. Mr. Fisher was a native of England, Arkansas having moved to Portland in 1957. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during World War II. He was a life long farmer and was the Coordinator and Leader of Lay Renewal Meetings all over the United States from Alaska to Florida to Maine. He was a member of the Portland Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was a member of the Sons of the Confederacy, a Shriner, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Portland Masonic Lodge #499. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Pat Tumlison; two granddaughters, Gina Grimes Smith and Tiffany Lynne Tumlison; his parents, Bob & Myrtle Dereuisseaux Fisher; a brother, James Fisher and three sisters, Margaret Sanders, Erma Bain and Betty Jo Fisher. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Billie Hughes Fisher; a son, Bobby Fisher Jr., and wife, Twyla; two daughters, Virginia (Ginnie) Grimes and husband, Billy, all of Portland and Dorothy Littleton and husband, Rhett, of Heflin, Louisiana; two brothers, Paul Fisher of Lake Village and Tommy Fisher of Little Rock; a sister-in-law, Mary Rollins of England; nine grandchildren, Terri Grimes, Cindy Furr, Scutter Coulter, Kim Hicks, Dustin Fisher, Brandy Ryals, Halley Golden, Cody Channell and Robert Pugh; 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a host of brothers and sisters in Christ. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the Portland Baptist Church with Brother Jerry Selby and Brother Carl Mason officiating. Burial will be in the Portland Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Portland Baptist Church, PO Box 86, Portland, Arkansas or the Portland Cemetery Association, P.O.
