Claud Johnson

Claud Johnson, 83, of Bee Branch, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Born in Bee Branch, Ark. on January 31, 1930, he was a son of Robert A. and Lilly (Ray) Johnson. Mr. Johnson retired from the U.S. Army, where he served in both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was also a retired mail carrier in Conway. Survivors include his wife, June (Mauldin) Johnson; son, Robert Johnson and wife Erlinda of Jenks, Okla.; daughter, Sharon Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas; four granddaughters, and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister, Emma Jean Wynia of Iowa and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and two sisters. The graveside service, under the direction of, Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Bee Branch Cemetery.
