Herschel C. Pearce

Herschel C. Pearce, 64 of Austin, took his flight to Heaven on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 after his struggle with cancer. Herschel was born June 12, 1948 in Holland, AR to the late Amon and Zella (Drake) Pearce. He is also preceded in death by sister, Nelda Lovell. Mr. Pearce worked for Dreamline Manufacturing for 20 years, and attended Baugh Chapel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rose (Buchanan) Pearce of Austin; children Tina Hartsfield and husband Scott of Greers Ferry and Valerie Stevens and husband Tony of Beebe; siblings Dwayne Pearce of Sherwood, Mary Jane Reynolds and husband LG of Conway, and Bobbie Jean Mathis of Conway; grandchildren Bridget Odom, Melissa Stevens, and Mallory Bernier; great-grandchildren Jade King, Brooklynn Bernier, and Saralynn Bernier; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at Baugh Chapel Baptist Church, 5570 Hwy. 319 W, Austin. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the church, with Toby Gilmore and Tim Deck officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.
